Astrid Podcasts is one of the UK's leading podcast production companies, home to some of the most recognised voices in women's lifestyle, wellbeing and culture, including Sunday Times bestselling author and journalist Candice Brathwaite, Dr Alex George and the cult favourite Love of Huns. LULACREATES has been proud to collaborate with Astrid over a number of years creating podcast cover artwork design for a number of their most well-known shows.
Podcast artwork is one of those design challenges that looks deceptively simple - a small square that needs to communicate personality, tone and genre instantly, stand out in a crowded directory, and work across every size from a Spotify thumbnail to a billboard. Getting it right requires real understanding of the show's audience and the space it sits in. It often requires the creation of something that feeds into a larger 'visual identity' for the host or show.
For each show LULACREATES developed bespoke podcast cover artwork that captures the personality of the host and the tone of the content, bold, characterful and designed to stand out.
