Louise is a designer and creative director who has spent almost 2 decades collaborating with fresh & evolving brands. Bringing all the creativity, a whole heap of small-business insight, and good connections, Louise will help support and guide your brand, creative output and visuals in a way that works for your business.

Louise has worked and collaborated with 200+ founders and small/med businesses on their brand, packaging and all-round creativity, and some pretty huge brands behind the scenes too. But at LULACREATES she keeps it small, collaborative and flexible; to give you the creativity you need to help fuel and sustain business growth. Because that's the work that makes us feel good.

What kind of clients do you work with?
Day one/solo founders through to medium-sized businesses with their own in-house teams. What do most clients have in common... they're brands and businesses that are building, growing and maintaining passion-led brands with big ambitions. Clients that really appreciate the value of good, simple yet fresh design and want to work closely with someone design, market, and consumer-savvy that can be trusted to imagine and look after their brand and creative output.

How much does good design cost?
LULACREATES day rates start at £400, a very competitive cost for the design level and experience that's on offer. However, costs are generally provided by project and custom packages designed to suit your needs. As and when you need it other freelancers and creative disciplines can be added to the mix to make us a more 'one stop' solution without the huge costs of an agency. Think copywriters, illustrators, web devs, motion designers, etc. 
 
Brand design package costs start at £2500. 
 
Retainer costs can be discussed where ongoing support is required. Minimum booking is one full day.
What's the LULACREATES' design style?
Design & culture-obsessed human, Louise constantly consumes the way both big brands & small brands interact with the world and use these insights to help inform the strategically-led creative work delivered to clients.
 
And we're so not here to default to doing things the way they've always been done, and instead thrive on fresh thinking and originality. That's likely how you got to this point too, right? How is brand design different from a logo? 
To create stand-out brands with purpose it's vital that we work to understand the humans that drive them, the big vision, the cultural trends, the markets you move in, and the human needs that you serve. Because that deep understanding is what really helps us connect and grow in a crowded market. Yes, a logo is part of the bigger picture, but in designing a 'brand' we also consider the other elements that help define a bigger 'brand world' and how you show up to make impact.
Do you design websites?
Yes, I've worked on designing lots of web, digital and UI projects. But web build is a skill in itself so that part of the project (if required) will be outsourced to a trusted developer. Website projects are so varied in scope that costings are done once we've chatted and scoped out what it is you need for your budget and requirements. 
Will Louise be working on my project?
Louise works hands-on in all projects but also has a great network of other independent creatives and developers so, where required, can curate cherry-picked teams to help deliver on bigger projects.
